What issues do law (agencies, personnel, etc.) face on a day to day solid ground?
Law enforcement agencies face multiple issues in todays society. There be many stressors in police work. very much of the stress associated with police work comes from recruiting and retaining police officers. One of the nous stressors of recruitment and retention melts from the nature of our versatile societies. Both the U S. and Canada have significant ethnic populations living within their borders.
In areas of each country with non-English speaking minorities, police departments stress the enormousness of having officers that have the ability to investigate a crime or deal with a victim in his or her native language. Further, it is a complex task to recruit police officers for diverse communities who are not only qualified, but also tot up with them an awareness or connection with the community. (michelle smith)
How does this impact them from a juristic standpoint?
Officers live and work in a always changing and dynamically social context in which they are exposed to a myriad of honest conflicts. When either extemporaneous or unaware, officers are more likely to go with the flow than they would be if they were adequately prepared to face potentially ethical risks. Every day, officers practice mental preparation as it relates to tactical situations. Officers who are mentally prepared to face a deadly encounter are more likely to be boffo than other officers who are tactically proficient but mentally unprepared.
