Lord of The Flies Book Report Character knave Ralph Ralph is a fair boy of about twelve. He is the first base character introduced in the story and is a dominant attractor throughout close of the book. He finds the conch, a symbol of evidence and authority. He blows the conch and holds an assembly in which he is voted chief. Ralph stays pore on getting rescued and building shelters while most of the others play and hunt. By the end all the boys have all turned against him or died. Piggy Piggy is a large, faint-hearted boy, with asthma and specs (eye glasses). He is Ralphs loyal sidekick from the start.
