Human emotions are expressions of both human biology and culture. No one has to teach a child how to feel alone, afraid, or happy. Jobs regulate the emotions of workers by having clear fraternization and agony policies set up for the employees. These policies are in place to comfort the employees from unwanted attention or awkward break ups deep down the company. By the same token, some jobs too script emotions in their employees; waitresses, hostesses, greeters, and flight attendants are to always protrude eager to serve, pleasant, and welcoming.
College teachers are expected to be professional towards their students. I think professors should be understanding, patient, trusting, encouraging, and interested in their students goals.



I realize many of my engineering and physics professors extend open invitations for students to go down visit their office hours or to have lunch or coffee. Our teachers are our greatest resource when it comes to understanding the paths we have chosen and where they will lead, so I think it is entirely get for them to invite students to talk freely. However, it is highly inappropriate and unethical for teachers to stomach the professional decorum with their students and say party with students or admit in an intimate relationship with students which would role strain fit in to the text (p 101).
