Nancy Wake was born on the thirtieth of August 1912 in Wellington, New Zealand. Her mother was of Maori descent and her bewilder British. She was the youngest of six children. In 1914 the family moved to Sydney, Australia. Nancy grew up here. Her father cast away them, making Nancy strong and independent. Being a lot junior than her siblings and them not being around she became very lonely. Desisting being neglected, Nancy ran away to become a nurse.
For a few months she trained as a journalist in 1932 in London, England. 1939, WW2 began. In the comparable year Nancy married Henri Fiocca, the love of her life in Marseilles.
