Who Will Come out on big top?
Lord of the Flies has many meanings to it which be defined by means of the characters involved in the story and their actions. Even after the flavourless crash the characters go through drastic events that change their lives. They chair into problems while stranded on the island. The characters that are the most salient would be Ralph and Jack. Over all in all, the things that separate these characters are leadership styles, their decision devising abilities, and their transformation to savagery.
Ralph immediately demonstrates leadership qualities and a focus on getting rescued, but doesnt not show signs of savagery. in one case Ralph is voted chief of the island he instantly takes control of the group and listens to all the concerns. They followed the summons of the conch, partly because Ralph blew it... (Golding 59) This suggests that Ralph is puff up liked among the boys. This show that Ralph is a well liked leader because they know that Ralph is the one with the conch, and they obey the sound. If Ralph were a bad leader he wouldnt be well liked by the boys. Often leaders, who allow others to share their ideas and urinate their input, are the ones people gravitate towards.
Ralph also demonstrates that he thinks most the whole island when making decisions

Instead of just revealing the boys to go have fun or deciding to all venture off by themselves, he tells all of them to stick out in one spot until they find out if they are indeed on an island.
