Wiesel questions divinitys existence.

Eliezer Wiesels faith in immortal was very strong growing up. He was one of the just about devout Jewish children. Eliezer believed beau ideal was the savior as sound as the punisher of the Jewish heap. No matter what the situation was, he believed divinity fudge had a plan, and a good reason backside all that he did. Even when the news of Nazis crimes against the Jews reached his town, he as well as the others remained faithful that God would non allow such a thing. They almost did not believe the rumors all together. But things began to take turn when God did not save them, contrary to what they thought. They too became victims of the Nazi crimes and were hauled forth to camps. That was when he began to doubt his savior.
Coming from a very phantasmal background, Eliezer prayed nightly. His relationship with God was much like a father-son relationship. Although he prayed to God, he did not know why he did. In the beginning of the book, Eliezers teacher Moshe the Beadle of Jewish mysticism, says to him: Man comes immediate to God through the questions that he asks Him, he liked to say. in this lies true dialogue. Man asks and God replies. But we dont understand his replies. We cannot understand them(Wiesel 5).
