My Findings Of Cairo

“My Findings of Cairo” Kuang Ching Hei (From 24 to 28 September, 2009) My history lesson, while I was in Form 2 way back in 1970, taught us about rivers and how civilization started along coastal areas. Although I cannot fall the contents of the History lessons too vividly as it was not one of my favourite subjects, I remember reading about Egypt, the Nile river, slaves, civilization tools and of course the pyramids. I excessively return reading about the better-looking Egyptian queen and the sleep together between Cleopatra and Julius Caesar and then later Mark Anthony. Nevertheless, as these were check out to us as lessons, I had in like manner wondered what language was hire between them when they showed interest in each other. I also wondered what was it about Cleopatra that captivated men and from where Cleopatra would source for her goat’s milk to bathe in and how her people had accepted her as their queen and in what way they could built suc h good-looking palaces. I was truly amazed and with the beautiful (then) Elizabeth Taylor acting as Cleopatra in the movies, I was more than intrigued to discover for myself how beautiful Egyptian women are. On September, 23, 2009, my two sons and I stepped onto the soils of Cairo for the first while in our life.
