Anne Zahalkas serial, Welcome to Sydney was commissioned and situated near the ecumenical Terminal of the Sydney Airport, the year 2003. This is a serial of photographs of foreign peck settling in various locations around Sydney including the well love landmark, the Sydney Harbour Bridge. This series reflects Sydneys multicultural identity and the buy the farm of other cultures and backgrounds. The title itself expresses that every people, whole cultures are and should finish welcome as they arrive to Sydney. Zahalka invited the models in her photographs to bring in significant objects that were special to them and their culture, some were also dressed(p) in their traditional clothing. The grass appears to be dry and with a dead chromatic/dull green colour. There are a fewer tall but slim trees in the distance and a monument of stones pilled as pillars surrounding the fence on the remediate hand side.
