Description
As of what I have betn, this fine art is the only artwork with a black or panoptic colored background on all the artworks displayed in the museum. In the artwork there are 5 characters or figures. 3 man, 1 circumstantial girl clutching a white darn and a Minotaur, half man half bull, holding a stick. The background is dark colored and has many stars.
Analysis
The style utilise for the artwork is scraped aquatinit. At first glance when I precept the artwork I thought isnt it too unprejudiced for an artwork? Why is it judged so great fully? solely once you look at it full point by detail you will see how great the effort Picasso put unto this artwork. How he managed to put his emotions into an artwork and make it live by that emotion. As far as of what I have seen I see the sadness or the personal turmoil he was experiencing the beat he drew the pictures. The way how the dark colors stood out. How the minotaurs position is drawn. You could really find out the trouble he feel inside at the artwork.
Interpretation
As I researched about Picasso, I stumbled upon articles saying that Picasso volunteered at hospitals in which the close common infirmity at that time was going blind and he most victim of it were the low life street peck and beggars. So based on what I have read, I interpreted the Minotaur as the alter-ego of Picasso. His emotions on being paranoid of going blind. I also represented his anguish, despair and guilt that he feels for the people he see on his volunteer on hospitals. The little girl representing the light that guided him through all his hardships and the work force are the people he see on his terrene life, which is the low life street people and the beggars. The night symbolise the personal turmoil he was experiencing the time he did the artwork.
Judgement
