The next think is reliableness in my opinion. Southwest Airlines has been around since 1967 and it is a name that more or less people recognize. The brand has a history while more of these upstarts have none. As the Vice President in Strategic Planning I think that this is where I would start my with as a building block on marketing Southwest Airlines brand. I would also take a page from their strategy. I would see which of the six offers amenities that might be advantageous to our airline. I would package the best of their amenities with our current offer to strengthen our product.

I think sticking with what has been a be product will be key, but improvement on the quality of inspection and repair while keeping costs as belittled as possible for consumers would be an added bonus. At the rest of the day customers will be confident and loyal to Southwest that has quality and familiar products along with new and innovative improvements at a low cost to them. The commitment of excellent service and rewarding loyal customers is what my strategy would be. By offering considerably food, drink, customer service and and other amenities like roomier seating, low cost upgrades and more entertainment options (video games for kids, more movie options and however XM radio) will keep customers happy and returning for more.
